Raspberry Face is our mascot. He contributes greatly to our band.
Influences
Well, of course the wonderful Harry Potter books and other wizard rock bands, like Harry and the Potters, Draco and the Malfoys, The Remus Lupins, The Whomping Willlows etc. We are aalso influenced by musicals, and bands like Queen, Keane......
Though English, Green Hats and Red Ties are proud supporters of Barack Obama and would vote if we had the privilege.
Hello, We the wizard rock band known as 'Green Hats and Red Ties'. As you may have noticed, we have a band mascot. He may look alarming, but do not be afraid, his name is Raspberry Face and he can't talk (except for making a few choice noises) and he can only eat prunes and drink prune juice. We Formed this band in December 2007. Since then we have written covers of any songs that you might recognise.We choose to cover songs that we enjoy and we feel also you will to (but mainly ones we can sing kindof well) We hope you enjoy them. In the near future, we hope that we will record our own songs with tunes written all by ourselves. However if our music coursework is any indication, this will probably not be very soon or HatP standard. Thanks for visiting us and please come back soon for some Wizard Rock Delights!

FINAL CALL. Just thought I'd try this one last time. I'm probably getting annoying by now, aren't I? Heh. Anyways, our absolutely FINAL auction is going to take place on July 1st. All proceeds are going to be sent to the Lesbian and Gay Fund of Colorado. So far, we've made plenty of money, but it's worth it to try to earn more! At my school, I am going to have a fundraiser in order to support the LGBT. (If you don't know what that means, it's the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender parties.) Today is the Day of Silence, and I think it's a great kick off for this fundraiser. People are highly influenced by the power of music, and by the power of books. What does that mean? Wizard Rock. We are going to have a large get together where we are playing Wizard Rock music, watching Harry Potter, etc. All the money we earn is going to be donated to support these groups of people. If any of you have any clothing merchandise, or new - and affordable - c.d. 's, please message me, so I can purchase them from you and we can auction them off at this event! THANK YOU!
