Life is good at Ashmont, except around this time of year, when they put a hat on me and think it’s funny. I suppose it’s a small price to pay for food in my belly and a roof over my head. My resolution for 2007 has to do with the restoration of my dignity. Anyway, best wishes for a happy and healthy New Year.

There is not enough rock in my life. Last night, I found myself squeezing the last few drops of rock out of a Three Dog Night 8-track, which I stirred into a finely powdered Fugazi 7-inch vinyl. The result was a muddy rock-paste, which I suckled from a cellophane bag shaped to resemble Kim Deal's left teat. The result? I find myself completely out of rock.
