EXISTED LIVE AND KNOCKED EM' DEAD at Shows FOR A FEW MONTHS TIL A fateful GIG AT NOMADS CLUB IN HOLLWOOD in March of 92' WHERE EXECS FROM RECORD LABELS NEVER SHOWED AS WAS PLANNED AND SILVA EXITED days later....THEN CAME PELLE ..A REALLY TIGHT DRUMMER FROM DENMARK......THIS VERSION OF GE FIZZLED OUT WHEN BASSSIST RICK CARMODY QUIT IN SOMETIME OF 1992 and joined the S. Bay punk band "The One Handed Readers"....HAGINS AND PELLE then JAMMED WITH A Heavy Metaller BASSIST NAMED MARK NATHANSON FROM JET CITY SOUND STUDIOS IN EL SEGUNDO CALIF...BEFORE THAT FINAL VERSION OF GE RAN IT'S COURSE LATE IN 92....IN DEC OF 1992, THE BAND FILMED THE INFAMOUS "VIDEOS" AT JET CITY..WITH CARMODY RETURNING ONLY FOR THE VIDEO CLIP SHOOT.....IN EARLY 93, HAGINS CHANGED THE NAME OF THE BAND TO "FOUNTAIN" AND JAMMED WITH A BASSIST IN NORTH REDONDO NAMED PHIL I THINK.......THAT LASTED ABOUT A MONTH...AND SOMETIME AROUND MARCH OF 93' ....HAGINS HUNG UP HIS AX AND HIS DRUM SKINS AND VOX FOR GOOD '

AFTER KEEGAN LEFT....THATS WHEN SOMEHOW THINGS REALLY GET WEIRD AND INTERESTING...........IN MARCH OF 1991, THE BAND (NOW JUST A TWO PIECE; HAGINS AND CARMODY) RELEASED THE FREAKISHLY INCREDIBLE "GOING LEGIT".........EVERY SONG ON THIS THING IS A MASTERPIECE WITH LYRICS AT A SHOCKING (AND POLITICALLY INCORRECT AS HELL) LEVEL ! ....HAGINS AND CARMODY WOULD WORK OUT SONG ARRANGEMENTS WITH HAGINS ON THE DRUMS AND THEN JUST GO RECORD THAT...AND ADD THE GUITAR LATER !.....IT WAS PUNK ROCK AT THE DAWN OF THE 90'S.........IT WAS PROBOBLY THE BEST BAND ONE COULD IMAGINE AND READY FOR THE INEVITABLE; RECORD DEAL ! ............THAT NEVER CAME....... ,

IN LATE 1991, NIRVANA HIT...WITH A RECORD DEAL ON GEFFEN AND ENDLESS MTV BLATHER and Spin...THEN CAME ALL THAT OTHER STUFF...PEARL JAM, RED HOTS, SOUNDGARDEN, ALICE N CHAINS, Stp....oh gawd.... ETC........AND THAT WAS PRETTY MUCH THE END OF THE MOMENTOM FOR G.E. who YET EVEN still continued into the wee hours of the night to land that all important and elusive record contract,,,,,,,,Still despite the Best Efforts of Hagins...it never happened for the long seemingly only suffering G.E.
..........IN 1992, STILL DETERMINED, HAGINS WENT ON A PRETTY REMARKABLE RECORDING SPREE OF MANY SONGS ALL BY HIMSELF IN THE STUDIO !PLAYING ALL AND MULTI-TRACKING INSTRUMENTS LIKE A MAD MAN....actually a desperate man !........THE RESULT WAS A COUPLE OF GOOD ALBUMS; 1992'S "AGENDA"...WITH 'MANIPULATION' A SONG THAT SOUNDS JUST LIKE THE FOO FIGHTERS ..BUT ITS IN 1992 !... AND THE BIZARRELY MELODIC "BIG TEEN DOLLARS"...CONTAINS THE EPIC 'MYSOGYNISTIA' AND 'ADDICTED'.......AS WITH all phases of G.E., the song ideas of 1992 would twist and turn in weird ways, SOUNDING ALMOST LIKE A DIFFERENT BAND EVERYTIME...Quirky as ever...with multiple melodic ideas that would be "Heard once.....and then NEVER HEARD AGAIN....."...BASICLY PUT; THERE WAS AND NEVER WILL BE A WAY TO "NAIL DOWN WHAT EXACTLY THE GE SOUND WAS"...it trully was a million different sounds in one amazing little trio.....taking pieces of the Beatles and the Amboy Dukes and BOC ....AND YET SOUNDING ALMOST COMPLETELY ORIGINAL...AND SOUNDING LIKE NONE OF THEM ,,,,,,,

PROBOBLY ONE OF THE BEST DAMN ROCK N ROLL ALBUMS EVER RECORDED...AND YOU WILL EVER HEAR,,,,,,,,Well regarded around the S. Bay and elsewhere as a pretty Darn good Masterpiece...and it fully goes above and beyond the call of showing off the ambition for individuality and genious of Hagins.........This thing is way beyond the standard "alternative rock" at KROQ..........IT GOES RIGHT TO THE BINS OF "CLASSIC ROCK" along the lines of the Who,GENESIS, and the Stones........
IN 1996, HAGINS, freshly booted from his long time lawn mowing gig and crash pad in Bel Air after a row with his older brother and then kicked out of his Parents pad in Redondo, got miraculously lucky answering an ad in the Torrance Daily Breeze Newspaper and was given an interview at a "Pool Cleaning job" in Torrance and got it and really that was his first 'real" job at age 31....shortly after he BEGAN THE FULL TIME JOB OF CLEANING SWIMMING POOLS AROUND TORRANCE AND REDONDO AND PALOS VERDES CALIFORNIA........IN 1997, HE VENTURED SOUTH TO 'NORTH COUNTY' SAN DIEGO (ENCINITAS, OCEANSIDE, VISTA, CARLSBAD) ....AND HIS MUSIC HAS NEVER BEEN HEARD AGAIN ............
