I am a thirtysomething mother of two (teenagers, a boy and a girl) and happily married to my man who is my best friend and has always been there for me through good and bad. I have a passion for nature and the outdoors and I love baking, all of which have to work around a busy job that keeps me out of the house!
When not doing any of the above I like to spend my time doing crafty things - scrapbooking, decoupage, card making, cross stitch, etc.
These days I am a woman of simple pleasures and like nothing more than snuggling up in the evening watching a good movie or a Joss Whedon series.
Who I'd like to meet: Other interesting people who share my interests and any TwiLight or Firefly fans - if that is you, please drop me a friend request!
No parties planned for us. I'm working a lot over the festive period, just weekends and bank holidays off this year, and im on call over Christmas too :( but it does mean a nice relaxing Christmas, with me doing none of the cooking! I must say, the food gifts sound a great idea! I'm not the best cook by any stretch of the imagination so that'd be my ideal present! :) i'm not sure what we've got planned for new year.
What parties have you got planned? It sounds like you're on top of it all! I've still got a couple of presents to get :)

Yeah the weekend was great! We had such a laugh out on Halloween! Unfortunately a lot of my facepaint that was on my legs, face and neck rubbed off onto my costume, so now I have to see if it can be dry-cleaned...I am not sure. :s
Mum said we had a lot of trick or treaters on Halloween actually. Luckily me and Lewis avoided the horrible weather on the way home on Sunday, but we had such a pain of a journey. Engineering works were on, so our route was blocked. It ended up taking us an extra hour or so just go get back from Colchester. :(
Oh well, it was worth it! Glad that you liked the pics.
Hey, it appears that I will be volunteering at the school where Mum and Lewis work soon! The headteacher agreed to 2 days a week for me, and my Mums got the CRB form for me to fill out tonight, yay! :D Just thought I'd let you know. ^_^
Oh and I am still reading Twilight and really getting into it. Sorry it has taken me a while, I have been way too busy as of late getting out and about job hunting and the like.
Hello! Just a brief message to let you know that I have been reading Twilight quite a lot today and yesterday, really enjoying it. Thanks for lending it to me! ^_^
