About The Green Mt. Pranksters

In 2007, the Green Mt. Pranksters went from a first practice to being chosen as the supporting act to former Phish keyboardist Page McConnell’s band at the Springfield, VT celebration of the national premier of the Simpson’s Movie. Springfield, VT was chosen to be the “Official Simpson’s Springfield” after their video submission won the 20th Century Fox Studio’s Hometown Movie Challenge. On Saturday, January 19th 2008 the band was the featured musical guest on the award-winning local TV variety show, Late Night Saturday with Tim Kavanagh, broadcast on WCAX-TV the CBS affiliate in Burlington VT, and on many cable systems in Vermont & New Hampshire. The Green Mt. Pranksters play covers of tunes by the Grateful Dead, Phish, Widespread Panic & other jamband tunes.

Subversive Sounds	Jul 13 2007 12:00 PM Come out to Waitsfield, Vermont, in the ‘Mad River Valley’ and spend the night with Subversive Sounds. We will be opening the doors to the Valley Players Theater (across the street from the library) at 4:00 pm. DJ Billy DeLyon's will be spinning vinyl until 5:00 pm. New Folk Revival, will then play one set until 6:00 pm. A short time later, The Desolation Angels will play deep into the night. We encourage everyone to come out, bring art, dress in costume, and be ready for the TEA PARTY OF ALL TIME!!
