In 2007, the Green Mt. Pranksters went from a first practice to being chosen as the supporting act to former Phish keyboardist Page McConnell’s band at the Springfield, VT celebration of the national premier of the Simpson’s Movie. Springfield, VT was chosen to be the “Official Simpson’s Springfield” after their video submission won the 20th Century Fox Studio’s Hometown Movie Challenge. On Saturday, January 19th 2008 the band was the featured musical guest on the award-winning local TV variety show, Late Night Saturday with Tim Kavanagh, broadcast on WCAX-TV the CBS affiliate in Burlington VT, and on many cable systems in Vermont & New Hampshire. The band was founded by Bassist/Vocalist Bill Baker and his wife Suz.
In 2008 the band relocated to NY and new Guitarist/ Vocalist Andy Roth joined. This spring the band added Drummer/Vocalist Pete Krupka, from Pittsfield MA's Longview Gunslingers to complete the lineup. Much more than just a Greatful Dead cover band, The Green Mt. Pranksters also play covers of tunes by Phish, Jefferson Airplane, Allman Brothers Susan Tedeschi, as well as their own originals.
I think it is an outrage that Kelloggs is withdrawing endorsements from Michael Phillips for smoking pot. Geez two of our presidents have done it.
I say lets finally create a back lash and boycott Kellogs for being such culture police.
What hypocracy! Obviously Phillips could take a toke and not have ruined his ability to swim.
I guess Kelloggs should put sweet polly purebread on their cereal.
How about some Priest on the box... maybe they would be pure enough. ....oh yeah they could be pedofiles.
Or maybe they could put Madoff on their cereal box maybe he never smoked pot! That would be just fine if he passed their no pot test.
I have absolutlely no connection to Michael Phillips but see this as a culture war attack.

All people who have ever smoked pot once in their life should switch to some Hippie granola cereal where they don't judge you for smoking a plant. It is like he is some criminal despicable villian now. Those people on medical pot should really be pissed. What kind of message does it send to them?
Someone should go find a list of all their products! Kelloggs - the product for angels, only the pure, not the cool or fun seeking or people with pain.
