Thanks to my Best friend David"life's a peach"Nelson introducing me to the Guitar in (1996) as a present for my 35th. Birthday, I never would have thought a Birthday present could be ever lasting.That same year I was united with Ruben Urtiz who at the same time was also learning to play an Instrument (Drums) for the first time.After a couple of years of 3 chourds,8 count drum beats and John Garcia flowing his bass grooves & Mario Cassara's drum circle style congo's. Garcia moved out of town and Denny Brewer took over for Garcia on the bass & after a Hollywood bowl trip to see Areosmith and zip-locking a sack of the Sweetest Cali. GREEN RIBBON was born.Even though not ready we would play wherever & whenever,then in (1999) lead Guitarist Paul leonard blessed us with his amazing talent.After a couple of unforgetable years Brewer,leonard & Cassara went their own ways and in (2001) the Rev. Rudy"Bonefinger"Schrodder starting blowing the RIBBON'S fans minds with his amazing bass skills.After many shows and travels as a trio Paul Hanna joined forces with the RIBBON in (2005) as Lead guitarist.Fast forward to (2009) and many unforgetable journey's in-between, May 15th. was the last show of this era. Ruben,Rudy & Paul have gone on to form another band and myself we'll possibly thinking about re-forming the RIBBON in Twenty(10) will be taking the rest of (09) to relax & focus on some other projects.To sum it all up in a matter of a few words to all our family's,friends & fans THANK YOU. All of your smiling faces & support over the years has been so much more than I never could imagine. Again THANK YOU & hope to see those faces again in Twenty(10)
