About me: Greenroom Salon opened it's doors for business March 1st 2006 at 924 1/2 Massachusssetts in downtown Lawrence Kansas. The space was previously occupied by Babette Crowder. Suzi McKinney and Brad Hestand joined forces to create a salon dedicated to exceeding expectation with concentrated focus on continuing education for all.
In January of this year, we hired our first assistant stylist, Teri Williams. After four months of intensive training, Teri is now taking her own clients and rapidly gaining a loyal following.
In October, Greenroom Salon hired its second assistant stylist, Molly Warren. Molly is currently in training and is doing a fantastic job. We look forward to Molly joining Teri, Brad, and Suzi on the floor with her own clients.
Molly is soon to go on the floor full time. She is currently taking appointments on Tues.,Fri., and Sat. Make an appointment with her quick! Teri is off to NYC for further training @ Bumble. Ask for a razor cut, she'll be a pro after this intensive course.
In April, we hired another new stylist, Megan Riley! Megan is originally from St. Louis and moved to Lawrence last fall. She is an experienced stylist with over four years in the industry. She is currently seeking models for her bi-weekly classes and is excited for new challenges here at Greenroom Salon. We are proud to have her on our team!

Who I'd like to meet: Would you like a FREE haircut? Greenroom Salon is looking for models to participate in classes for our new stylists. The only thing we ask is that you are willing to change your current hair style. There are also opportunities to be a color model for only $10! Furthermore, all models get a reduced price on any of our Goldwell or Bumble and Bumble product line at the end of the class. Usually, the classes take a little longer than a typical haircut as there is an instructor and one assistant stylist working to create a new and exciting style. So I'm pretty sure that it is completely worth the gas price just to drive down and get my hair cut at GreenRoom--still getting compliments and my mom was even like we should just take a weekend and go down so that we can both get our hair cut....I like this plan. xo
so someday in the distant future i will get my hair did at green room again, but for now i'm hairfarming... but you can now rock your do every saturday upstairs at louise's. and yes you girls did rule friday!
We did rule on Friday. Now we just need to get our own Macbook and speakers and turntable and we're set. I saw way more booty-shakin' to our songs! p.s. When will you start carrying that new shine spray? I'm addicted after just that once.
