About me:

GREENSCHOOLS is a non-profit organization whose mission is to create healthier learning environments through education and awareness. We address issues pertaining to: Indoor Air Quality [Green cleaning+] Recycling, Reducing, Reusing Nutrition We help and support those involved in the school community, or in other areas of learning such as Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, after school programs, camps and more. We have a variety of programs, presentations, fund raisers, and more. In addition, we offer scholarships to seniors in high school [in our participating schools]who write an essay about the benefits of living a "greener"/healthier lifestyle. Students may also submit ideas for green projects in school communities.

Sitting there, doing nothing but heating up the atmosphere, so solar parking lots! Community-sustained, secure, renewable electricity! Bonus = community jobs! All over America! So I’m back at university learning GIS to analyze each town’s paved parking areas (Greensboro NC (pop 247,000) has 10.27 square miles of it that will power over 500,000 homes (every year) if covered with photovoltaics!) and I’m starting put_a_lid_on_it …………..………. Goal to have the Supreme Court Olmstead decision 6 to 3 Law enforced and have community-based programs for all who qualify for med waiver and consumer directed care which will save the taxpayers approximately 50% and provide opportunities for jobs instead of having disabled institutionalized or a nursing home. Also the George W. Bush presidential Executive Order 13217.Which means it has been designated a nationwide problem! To be Moses for all disabled people to remove the yoke the burden on our disabled back and set disabled people free.Keep Rock 'n rolling on!

If you know anyone with little ones in the house, or who works with children, please let them know that we have turned our January Book "Parsnip Meets A Snowman" into a short voiced-over film. The book of the month is always available to read free on our own website www. thefoodiesbooks. com but we thought this would be a nice way to reach children who are not yet starting to read.
