"Utah Green sings like some kind of torn and frayed mountain angel born of a long forgotten backwoods American town. Her music is quixotic, but purely genuine, and simultaneously modern and ancient. If you listen closely, it resonates and makes the outside world go quiet for a moment."
--Kevin Calabro / HYENA Records
From the hills of western North Carolina, Utah Green follows her heart and soul on the musical journey that she has undertaken. Offering her passion for life's experiences and the songs that come as a result of them, Green's soulful folk sound has been heard from Asheville, North Carolina to Ketchikan, Alaska; New Orleans, Louisiana to San Cristobal de Las Casas in Mexico. Her light hearted sound and apprecitation for traditional mountain and sea songs, Utah is a song painter, a story singer, a smile maker, and a tear jerker.
Influenced by people of all walks, Utah finds inspiration through travel and performance. She seeks to communicate her stories through songs and smiling eyes.
