Sage Wholefoods to Close

Sage Wholefoods has been severely struggling due to unexpected legal costs this year, and due to competition in the organics market from neighbouring supermarkets.

Regretfully, we will be closing our doors for the last time at 8pm on Wednesday 31 October 2007. Come along and say hello/goodbye!

The feedback we have had from the local community has been overwhelmingly supportive of what we do, what we stand for and the people who now make up the Sage Wholefoods Cooperative. The store and the Sage Community Garden are clearly valued as an integral part of Moseley, and we are all incredibly sad that this is happening.

We have greatly appreciated your continued support for your local Not-For-Profit Workers’ Cooperative.

Hi,

Sage Wholefoods will be open from 1pm - 6pm tomorrow (Sunday 17 June) and alongside all our regular healthy yummy treats there'll be a plant sale and a card sale too.

It's the Moseley in Bloom Open Gardens Weekend and they'll be stopping by at Sage to see our Community Garden.

Remember all sales of our homemade cards go to the upkeep of the garden so that it's always a nice place for people to work, hang out, meet friends and enjoy the surroundings.
