As some of you already know, we have been busy over the last five months with writing and recording some new music. It is easily the most proud of anything we've ever been a part of. We have joined our minds and hearts to create something unique, and we want you to be a part of it.
Before we do that, we have a bit of explaining to do...
Our atoms have split, WE ARE: Go Van Gogh.
Go Van Gogh's sound consists of sex, lust and anger...lost love and winning hope..... at times.....frantic and visceral, .......at times melodic as a lullaby....and at times,....too much for the human brain to handle.
this is only the beginning...
March 9th is the day we release our first EP, Ruby and the Starlight Ballroom. We can't wait to get some feedback from you, so get your butt over to the new myspace page - www.myspace.com/govangoghtheband - Start some musical conversations.....we are ready.
Go Van Gogh will be embarking on some virgin touring starting in March. With our very first show to be the CD release in STL (3/9 @ Cicero’s). We will be venturing further out of town in April, May, and beyond. We can’t wait to get out there with new tunes, new vibes, and new neck ties.
We all felt the need for a new creative outlet, something that was completely new and inspiring, and we just hope you all love it as much as we do. We have not been this creatively inspired in a very long time – and it feeeeeels goooooood.
Greenwheel will still be playing some shows out and about so do not fret; we've got a college show and a casino show coming up in greenwheel land during the next few months ... stay tuned...
First and foremost though - go here: www.myspace.com/govangoghtheband
And If you want to drop us a line and say hey (please do), just hit the Go Van Gogh myspace page ... we'll be using that page from now on. Much love!!!
CANADIAN CUSTOMS return to St. Louis tomorrow (Saturday, Nov. 15) at THE WEDGE.
THE WEDGE is located at 442 Bates St., St. Louis, Missouri 63111 and is the hottest new venue for regional live music in the St. Louis area. It is no wonder that CANADIAN CUSTOMS readily agreed to appear there when asked.
This will probably be our last St. Louis show for the 2008 - so be sure you get to THE WEDGE tomorrow to see the show.
It is an ALL AGES show (one of the few we do) so bring everyone!!!
Show starts at 4:30 p.m. and doors will be open at 4:00 p.m. Seating will probably be at a premium - so come early and enjoy the entire show.
