Pooh, this looks much better on youtube; the classic yachts, the action and all....the vids never play smoothly on my page..
Happy 200th Birthday, Charles Darwin! LOVE this photo!!
Now, my daughter can have the CHOICE, to marry or not! YEA, Connecticut!!! Now, she says with guilt, we all must keep up the fight for California, and every other state!
It's past time!!!
Case closed.
TEA RAP! Warning, explicit lyrics...but this so cracked me up! And about my brand, too!!
Music
Joey's legs....sigh~~
Variation on a sad Welsh mining song. God, I still get Byrd GlassesGasms, seeing Jim's...I felt a curious excitement, a stirring, when I wore them. Isn't it strange, how mere things, objects, can be imbued with such emotion...evoking all the senses...Scout put it better, in the 'To Kill a Mockingbird' monologue.
The Man...Jesus everyone I love is dead.
Flower Punk...having only one bathroom in the house will bring this dance on, too.. Doesn't the keyboardist look like a Werewolf? Not a fully entrenched wolfman, but like one who's feeling the first pangs of Werewolfism.
Join me on a stroll through memory lane! GOD I loved this...and the singer looks like Oliver J. Dragon, too! Who's he, right??! Here he is...
Albrecht Mayer, of the Berliner Philharmoniker..

Jessica Lange & Drew Barrymore in Grey Gardens...superb performances!
One of my favourite Actors of all time, Lionel Barrymore~

Books
I believe that every American should read Thomas Paine.
I had to WALK down this tressle, Jacob's Ladder, because we stupidly descended Washington on this side. There were rocks, far below the tressle, and the ties were wet! It truly is another world.
I remember seeing the very first Lone Ranger episode over a friend's house (the Gagliardi's, Care..) and I vaguely remember a slaughter of the rangers...I think they were in a big pit, and this only remaining ranger crawls slowly, and painfully up the side of the pit, and dons the mask...hence, the LONE Ranger! My memory is no doubt warped, and I'll look for the video to see how well I recall it all, but the point is, from then on, I had some pretty strange fascinations for any character in a mask, and even for guys with glasses. OK, it's called a fetish. I reallee believe that, that early episode affected me deeply.
Hi Judith, I hope you are doing well. I haven't been on here much but do think about all my friends here. It has been raining all weekend but it has brought some cooler temps. I am NOT happy about the leak in our roof though! There are water stains on my den ceiling! If it's not one thing.......Not much else happening around here though. Take care sweetie. ~Hugs, Linda
Hi Judith...it only got to 90 today(saturday). Spent most of the day
outside, it was actually bearable out. There was a slight breeze and
the humidity wasn't bad. The morning was best, sat out on the patio and
enjoyed my coffee again. I love those mornings. LOL, went to a wine
tasting this afternoon at.....Target! Of all places, they were giving
out samples of different kinds of wines and they were really drawing a
crowd! I tasted about 4 or 5 and bought a bottle! Now I'm not a
drinker, occassionally I'll have one in the evening or maybe a
margarita once in a while at a Mexican restaurant but my drink of
choice is sweet tea but, this one was good...I'd better watch it, it
might push me over the edge! NOT!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend dear friend. ~Hugs, Linda
Hi Judith...I hope it is cooler where you are than it is here. It was 103 today and
has been in the 100's for a couple of weeks. I only go out to water the
flowers/plants, they are looking bad anyway, and to give the birds a
drink. I feel so bad for those who have to work outside in this kind of
heat. Have a terrific Tuesday! ~Hugs, Linda
So happy to see you back on here Judith! What a horrible experience to have that bad reaction to the bite...glad that you are better now. Wonder what it was...do you have brown recluse spiders? They have a very nasty bite! Anyway, welcome back! Have a wonderful weekend! ~Hugs, Linda
It was beautiful! It's actually a little on the chilly side now, dare I say! Temps have been great, but I'm just afraid we'll go right into Winter without having some Summer-like weather. I forget what happened to your laptop. Did it burn out??
