1. Back in 2003, Swedish HIPSTER ERIK S., 25, took his UKULELE, left his small hometown in the FJORDS and went to GOTHENBURGH, to follow his purpose as a TEENAGE IDOL.
ERIKS first 7" "HEJ ÄNGEL" topped swedish "UNPLUGGED FOLK-MUSIC"-CHARTS later that year and stayed there for an unbelievable 68 weeks. In 2005, Erics MANAGER, Löjtnant Bert-Åke LYNGSTAD, sent his protégé to BERLIN in order to break german MARKET.
Just arrived, ERIK got addicted to weird vintage synthesizer-stuff and cheesy 80s-POP, named himself "KINDER AUS ASBEST", cut strings to his management and remixed his HIT to a danceable TRACK!
Will ERIK succeed again - or must he go back to the FJORDS?
2. 22 years old OLGA MALEWITSCHOVA moved from ST. Petersburgh to BERLIN in 2003, to study FINE ARTS.
Frustrated with smart figures in slippery ART-BUSINESS, OLGA heavily fell in LOVE with GRUSINIAN BRANDY and nowadays her only attempt is to HITTTTTT you!
Or even to BEAT you UP!
Better don..t argue with OLGA, otherwise you probably might get KILLED!
3. Kaukasian PLAYBOY SAMOTH AKRUBOV, 39, came to BERLIN in 2001 to reactivate BUSINESS in legendary Football-Klub BFC DYNAMO. While this ambitious PLAN meanwhile seems to be unrealisable, SAMOTH decided to make another one of his DREAMS come true and produced a RECORD under the Alias of HITS BERLIN - with great assistance of her Kitschness, GIGI VON G. LISTEN carefully to SAMOTHS Debut as a CROONER with the sleazy GOTHIC-HOUSE-Anthem: KUESS mich ZAERTLICH.
4. You remember ERIK, the guy from the FJORDS? Just finished the first danceable track of his live – he decided to do another one. The choice of the track he grabbed for REMIX, shows, why this silent man from the NORTH has every right to be called a REAL HIPSTER. ERIK, now under the trademark of EKSS, took the minimal anthem “Veb Heimat” and FREAKED IN a regular DOSE OF ACID! HEY ERIK – don..t worry – you will never have to go back to the FJORDS!
5. HORST "HOTTE" WIERCZEJEWSKI, 74, and JEAN-MICHEL HUÉ, 69, are close friends since JEAN MICHELs days in french occupation-army in BERLIN in the early 1960s. When JEAN-MICHEL came back to visit his old comrade in Senioren-Wohnpark Lichtenberg, they both fell in mood for some really cool BEATS. So HOTTE fetched up his old CASIO and they started jamming along. Male-Nurse MIRKO ZWANZIG, 24, who completed his civilian services in the SENIORENHEIM during these days, recorded the furious session on his mobile-phone in early morning of december 28/2005. Maybe this little episode would have been long time forgotten, if MIRKO had not provided a practical training at EXIL-SYSTEM HEADQUARTER in midsummer 2006. To make a long story short: Guys at EXIL-SYSTEM got absolutely electrified with the chant of the WOHNPARK-LICHTENBERG-FOLKS and spontaneously decided to release the TUNE!
