The leader of the Fitzsimmonsists,Frederick Anthony Benson was born on August 16,1969 in Washington,Pa. A graduate of the Highland School at Wesley Institute in,Pittsburgh,Pa. currently lives in Canonsburg,Pa. His favorite hobbies include playing dartball,playing PlayStation 2,listening to the Phil Hendrie Show and the Michael Savage Show,loves Irish-American people and loves to walk and ride his bike to Independent Tattoo Studio,where he talks to his friends. His favorite(and only) Hollywood celebrity is comedian Greg Fitzsimmons,and on April 16th,2006,Fred created the Fitzsimmonsists,a non-religious sect honoring the humor and work of this 5-foot-8 inch,150 pound Irish-American award winning comedian. Przybyla,the former pastor of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church,who helpedhim convert to Catholicism on April 2nd,1994;and "Fitz" for the Fitz prefix the Irish use,like Fitzpatrick,Fitzgerald,Fitzsimmons,Fitzhenry and Fitzharris. Fred is also an avid sports fan following the Kansas City Royals,Houston Astros and San Diego Padres in baseball,the Philadelphia Eagles,Detroit Lions and San Diego Chargers in the NFL,the Sacramento Kings in the NBA and the Ottawa Senators and Toronto Maple Leafs and L.A. Kings in the NHL,and the Iona Gaels and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in college sports. His biggest thrill would like to see Greg Fitzsimmons in person in Canonsburg or in Pittsburgh,and hopefully have a Greg Fitzsimmons CD in the future.
