Bio:

GreggreG is a self-taught musician from Buffalo NY. He started playing noise on his guitar in 1993 and quickly moved onto tackling the keyboard, synthesizer, samplers, drum machine, bass, and writing lyrics and vocalizing. GreggreG has also provided the music for local theater companies such as Torn Space Theater and Pavlov’s Dog. There was even a time when GreggreG made homemade instruments out of scrap metal and machinery. In the future he is planning on making more videos playing more shows and recording more songs. --------------------- ------------------------------- ------------ -------------------------- “Of Sound Mind” is a work representing what I feel about trying to keep my mind sound in todays society-before it is too late----living where there is so much distraction and noise----I try to keep my mind sound with healthy human relationships and expressing my thoughts and ideas of the way society should be------- ----I have aquired instruments to express this----and I am always racking my brain thinking of ways to manipulate them into doing what I want with them to make the best sounding results that I can do-------- ----I work intuitively-with my producer-Mr. Ski-Mask—in his Electric Pumpkin Patch studios-----to put together songs which will later be reconstructed for a live sound------- -----also contributing to the project is Elijah playing guitar and effects--- -------------many instruments were used with high end professional studio machinery and electronics to make this recording----------------------------- ---I have made up to 70 tapes in the past under the name GreggreG(aka GreggreGinfinity) and some other bands---and with this Of Sound Mind project I mark the debut of the GreggreG 2000 band---which includes Mr.Ski-Mask on Bass and Elijah on guitar------------------------- ---also added to the lineup is Melanie on guitar and voice--- ---and Greg(the drummer Greg) on Drums----------they have played with GreggreG2000 for shows and will be included in future recordings---------- GreggreG has been fighting a tough battle with the ailment of Schizophrenia---through all of this he has been able to maintain a positive outlook on life----and he shows that no matter how tough things get in life and with this disease things are never so bad-(hopefully)------- ..   I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
