GREG HEATH: Fact & Fiction

2009 Debut Release Fact & Fiction comes recommended by Jazz UK as one to buy with confidence “…there’s a strong Coltrane-circa-1961 influence here and as well as Heath’s fire-starting tenor the CD captures pianist John Donaldson at his most eloquent” DUNCAN HEINING – Jazz UK

Hey Greg! Great to meet you! You can certainly give that Sax some stick!! Make the most of it, as Gordon plans to tax every breath we take very shortly and you are in the wrong profession!!! Wonderful playing and thanks for the nice message! Stay crazy! See you the 24 Pesos gig hopefully! Bertie.

Yeah Richard! I can't tell you what a massive sense of security that particular sax-carrying fella imparted, years ago, in some small town beneath the southern cross :)

LOVE YOU GREG

Greg,

Well, I'll second that, tone and intelligence, style and chutzpah.

If only I'd married you first.

Right, lunch TBA.

Nov 16 2007 5:57 PM

Hello Greg! Hope you can make it to this:

Special offer for a special night...

Love Bowie's seminal albums Low and 'Heroes'? Then be excited, be very excited...

What: drummer Dylan Howe and The Subterraneans (feat. Portishead's Adrian Utley, Stranglers' Hugh Cornwell, sax genius Gilad Atzmon,
the Solid Strings and a plethora of UK talent) perform a one-of reimagining of David Bowie's Low and 'Heroes' as part of the London Jazz Festival - and we want you to be there!

Where: Cargo, Shoreditch, London EC1

When: Sunday 25th November.

Plus, generous souls that we are, we have a special 'early bird' offer of £10 on advance tickets (instead of £12.50/£15 on the door on the night)

Email Joe.R@cantaloupegroup.co.uk - with your ticket requests - mentioning you're the Dylan Howe mailing list and you'll get each ticket for £10.

(NB. This offer expires on Monday 19th of November)

Don't miss this super-special night :)
Richard Bailey
