iTunes featured Greg Holden as one of “Today’s Best Singer/Songwriters,” and also featured his self-released debut album A Word In Edgeways on “What We’re Listening To.” Ten weeks after Greg launched his “Living Room Series” series on Youtube, he was a featured Spotlight Artist. Since then, Youtube has featured him 3 more times, accumulating over 800,000 plays. When Greg’s local Lancashire, England paper described him as having a “ fabulous voice, which deserves to be heard on a wider stage” they said it right. BBC Radio Suffolk agreed, noting, “Greg Holden is one of the most talented singer-songwriters to have graced our studios…over the past couple of decades.”
Tireless crafting of stirring melodies has led him to share the stage with acts such as Ingrid Michaelson, Rosi Golan, Idlewild, Turin Brakes, The Subways, and Ben Griffiths. Selling out shows across the UK and in NYC at The Living Room, Rockwood Music Hall, and the Canal Room. Greg also used his digital prowess to launch a sold-out UK tour with popular YouTube artist Julia Nunes.
This fall, after a summer of touring music halls on both sides of the pond, and the living rooms of his most ardent fans, Greg joins indie pop icon Ingrid Michaelson on her US tour. The British singer is also collaborating with some of today’s best songwriters and producers such as Sacha Skarbek (James Blunt), Jamie Hartman (Ben’s Brother), Felix McTeige (Carrie Underwood), Ari Hest, Nate Campany (Click 5), Rosi Golan, Boots Ottesttad (Robbie Williams), Tim Gordine (Eastmountainsouth), Richard Causon (Ryan Adams) and Sam Bisbee.
