Well how far back should I go??? It all started with a twinkle in my fathers eye.... Just kidding. I moved to Nashville while I was in high school. I had never even played a guitar. As I started thinking about what I wanted to do when I grow up I thought "Hey this is music city, why not be a songwriter". So after a million guitar lessons and graduating high school it was off to college to study music and audio production. I signed my first publishing deal while in college (for the second time... long story). Here it is many years later and I am still makin up words and music. I guess this is what I will do if I ever grow up. I've been lucky enough to get to go to Wal-Mart and pick a few of my songs up off the shelf. A few of the artists that have recorded my songs are Clay Walker, Tracy Lawrence, Lila McCann, Brian McComas, Dusty Drake, The Kinleys, Sweethearts of the Rodeo and a few others. I have made many really good friends that have been a support for me through good and tough times.

Greg, thanks for the add. I got the chance to stop by for a sec and sure did like what I heard of the song 'Baptizing Arnold Kansas'. I know I'll be back soon to hear some more. Thanks again for letting me in your circle... I appreciate it. Please come by my page as well when you can and check out some of my songs and some of my lyrics. later, JD Aldridge, lead guitarist for SRX
