Gregor and the McGregors are a unique group of musicians from diverse musical backgrounds. Together, jazz, blues and classical influences make for an exciting musical experience for everyone.
The McGregors performances are not just shows they are events! Whether they are lead on stage by a bagpiper or play an impromptu version of a reggae song, audiences love to see and hear what they will do next. Such exciting and unpredictable performances have led one local venue to dub them, Fredericks hottest band.

Our Mission
The Patricia M. Sitar Center for the Arts brings its diverse community together in a safe and nurturing environment to support the creative gifts and well-being of our children and youth, primarily those from families with low incomes. In collaboration with community artists and arts institutions, the Sitar Center helps young people to discover and develop their talents in music, dance, drama, writing and visual arts.
What We Do
The Patricia M. Sitar Center for the Arts is a community arts organization offering after-school, Saturday, and summer arts education programs to residents of the Adams Morgan, Mount Pleasant, and Columbia Heights neighborhoods. The Sitar Center currently serves 300 students in the areas of music, dance, drama, writing, and visual art. The programs are accessible and affordable to the youth in the neighborhood. Most students pay a fee of $15 per semester for unlimited classes.
