Bio:

Im Greg, i used to skate alot, used to get hurt a lot. Now i play bass, and dont get hurt as much. More recently ive been based in the UK and have been fortunate enough to have met and played with musicians such as Jim White, Jason Rebello, Merz, Fun Lovin Criminals, Andy Shepphard, Hayley Westenra, Broadcast 2000, Iain Ballamy, Carlinhos Brown, Gareth Lochrane, Ed Motta, Pee Wee Ellis, Avishai Cohen, Massive Attack, Jerry Gonzales, Sarah Blasko,Sirius B, Fiona Pears, James Morton, Luke Flowers (Cinematic Orchestra),Dave Dobbyn, Nik Young, Cameron Pierre, Clark Tracey, Also playing support and touring with great musicians such as Joao Gilberto, Caitano Veloso, Wayne Krantz, Airto Moreira, Joyce, Ben Harper, My Brightest Diamond, G Love and Special Sauce. Somehow, ive managed to eek out a career of sorts playing up and down the UK and Europe, bass bothering in UK venues such as Ronnie Scotts, 606 Club, Camden Jazz Cafe, The Barbican, The Roundhouse, Shepards Bush Empire, Academy, The Forum, Colston Hall, Band on the Wall. European Venues such as Paradiso, La Maroquinerie, Flech D'Or, Le Botanique, Berlin Arena, Geneva Arena, and US venues such as Doug Fir Lounge,Joe's Pub NYC, 55 Bar, Smalls Jazz Club NYC Major Festival dates include Glastonbury Festival, Montreaux Jazz Festival, Reading Festival, V Festival and Womad. For the gearheads (like me)- Im endorsed by Schertler and use thier DYN-B, and Pirastro and use either a combination of Eudoxa/Chorda/Oliv strings.
