Ephemeral Highways is a 100% instrumental release composed using midi synthesizers and recorded directly into Protools. I grew up listening to famous jazz musicians that where always on the edge of the popular scene such as Terje Rypdal, Eberhard Weber, Ralph Towner but I always respected and enjoyed the mastery of Bill Evans, Lyle Mays and Joe Zawinul. Lyle Mays especially had an impact because of his very tasteful use of synthesizers a instrument I feel most comfortable as a compositional tool.

Composed over a period of 4 years this is music for the mind eye and specifically created to take the listeners out of their usual surroundings and onto the beautiful timeless landscapes of the great Southwestern deserts and lush green rolling hillsides of the New England backroads.
