    Gregory M. Spock, tenor, holds his Bachelor’s degree in Music from Syracuse University. Since college graduation at Syracuse University, Gregory sang with the Connecticut Opera in their October 2006 production of Carmen Following Carmen, Gregory began coaching with Maestro Steven Crawford, conductor at the Metropolitan Opera. Gregory sang the roles of Tierhändler, Haushofmeister von Faninal, and Wirt in Der Rosenkavalier with the Lowell House Opera in their March 2007 production in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He renewed his 2007 contract with Connecticut Opera singing in their April 2007 production of Don Pasquale. During the summer of 2007 he sang the role of Don Curzio with Eastern Opera New York for their June 2007 production of Le Nozze di Figaro and Parpignol with the Berkshire Opera Company in their August production of La Boheme. In the fall of 2007, Gregory sang with Connecticut Opera again in their production of Tosca in November. At the same time he also was contracted to sing King Kaspar in Amahl and the Night Visitors in Bedford, NY. Since 2008 he sang with Connecticut Opera in their March 2008 production of La Cenerentola. After moving to New York he sang the roles of the Old Miner and Hotel Clerk in Chelsea Opera’s The Ballad of Baby Doe in their May 2008 production and as an ensemble member in Regina Opera’s June production of Il Trovatore. During the summer of 2008 he sang with Martina Arroyo’s Prelude to Performance program in their July 2008 production of Un Ballo in Maschera. As of the fall of 2008, he became a resident artist with Opera Company of Brooklyn in which he sang the roles of Don Curzio in Le Nozze di Figaro, King Kaspar in Amahl and the Night Visitors and will sing Elder Gleaton in Susannah in the spring of 2009. Other 2009 engagements included singing Gherardo in Regina Opera’s March 2009 production of Gianni Schicchi, Benvolio with New York Lyric Opera at the prestigious Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall and Parpignol in La Boheme with Amato Opera. He recently was accepted into Dicapo Opera Theatre’s Resident Artist Program for their 2009-2010 upcoming season. His summer plans include singing with Martina Arroyo’s Prelude to Performance in productions of Die Fledermaus and La Boheme. He continues to study voice with Mark Oswald.
