Greg Sheehan is one of Australia's premier and most innovative percussionists, widely regarded internationally as an expert in his field. As a performer, he is significantly represented in the last three decades of Australian contemporary music as a solo artist, a live band member, and a studio musician having played on hundreds of recordings. As a teacher Greg has coordinated many extraordinary community arts projects along with teaching both professionals and the wider community with his unique style of rhythmic notation and original body percussion techniques. .. .. .. .. ...... "Time" features such long-time rhythm collaborators as Matt Ledgar , Matt Ostilla, Jamie Patugalan , Laura Targett, and of course Greg himself. The band is a powerhouse of awesome musical landscapes and eclectic rhythm with rich multi-cultural influences and a uniquely Australian flavour. ***************************************************************************** CIRCLE OF RHYTHM: The Circle of Rhythm is a collaboration between three of Australia's most well respected, virtuosic and unique percussionists; Greg Sheehan, Bobby Singh and Ben Walsh, known individually and collectively through their work in groups such as; Taikoz, The Bird, Utungan Percussion, Skin, Pablo Percusso, Dha and many more. After ten years of defining and redefining what Australian drumming can offer the world they have formed a percussion trio with a difference, rich in culture from the various styles all three dynamic performers have spent their lives exploring.
