Greg Sherrod has been entertaining audiences in the New England region for 22 years, playing music in the best venues in the area. He spent many years involved in musical theater starring in many productions like Jesus Christ Superstar (Judas), Nunsence (Sister Hubert), and being involved in Dandelion Children's Theater, He has taken the stage with bands like The Clarke Brothers, Powerhouse, Sugar Daddy and, The Highrollers He also supported or played with acts like Tower of Power, John Cafferty and The Beaver Brown Band, King's X, Deep Banana Blackout, E.C. Scott, K.D. Bell, and James Motgomery. Greg also led the house band at The Newport Blues Cafe.********** Greg was recently selected to Michael Boltons New Haven Choir on Clash of The Choirs. Clash Of The Choirs was a reality special shown Live Dec, 17 thru 20th of 2007 on NBC. Greg perfomed on the show which beat "Monday Night Football in the ratings for the night of Dec 17, 2007. 5 celebrities went back to their home towns to select a 20 person choir and take them to NYC to compete live on national T.V. Greg was also selected to The special sight reading and fast study group hand picked from each choir to perform live on an NBC "The Today Show" which featured Gloria Estefan. Greg sang on stage with Patti LaBelle, Kelly Rowland of Destiny's Child, Nick Lachey, Blake Shelton, and Michael Bolton. Greg also performed as a back up singer for Michael Bolton's performance of When a Man Loves a Woman. Now he has come back home and is bringing BLUES N SOUL N ROCK N ROLL to your area!
