About me: I have 2 sons, Julian (16 going on 25) and Jesse (6). My first passion. Brothers from different mothers. Always been a little on the experimental side when it comes to life. I have worked in the music business for the past 20 years with various indie labels as a marketing director, producer, manager and a little of the rest. My second passion.
I was given the opportunity, while working at Malaco Records, to produce a record in the late 90's with an artist named Little Milton that was nominated for a Grammy for Best Contemporary Blues Album of the year. Recorded the record in Alabama at Muscle Shoals Sound Studio. I miss that place. I work with an artist named Bobby Rush as label manager for Deep Rush Records, and also have a booking agency called Ignatius Artists (ignatiusartists.com). Working with some extremely talented artists. Got to see Tom Waits in Memphis...Amazing. Sad day for the music business as one of the gods died, Mr. Jerry Wexler. I had the honor of receiving a note from him in regards to the Little Milton record that I produced. I have it framed and hanging on my wall. Another veteran of the music business, and a dear friend of mine, Jamie Cohen, died last week. He was an artist, musician, writer, producer and catalyst. I will miss him for a long time. He was 55.

The budget of the festival and the number of bands will be based on these presales. Please support the festival and help us bring in as many bands as possible.
We're featuring bands we like on our player each day. At least we're trying. The myspace player isn't always cooperating. Try selecting the alternate playlists. We can at least give you links to the bands myspace pages or websites.
These are bands that we hope to get involved with our festival. There's a lot of them. Check them out and add them as your friends. Send us a message and tell us how you like them and who we should be sure to bring in for the festival.
