Grenouille starts as the solo project of Javier A. Born in 1984 in La Laguna, the only rainy town in Canary Islands. At the age of fourteen, he discovered a dusty guitar on his grandparents’ garage. He started to learn how to play it and soon he was forming his first band. Some years later, he had been part of several music projects. He studied fine arts between Madrid and Tenerife, and started to create short films. Between 2007 and 2008, he finished writing and recording his solo demo “Shadows of the lagoon” in a home studio. One day, he decided to leave everything behind and took a flight to London with just a bag full of instruments.
