Gretchen Bostrom is a jazz & blues vocalist from Boston, MA. She has pursued voice studies in jazz, folk, blues & pop styles. She currently studies with locally renowned jazz, folk, & musical theatre vocalist, Celia Slattery. Gretchen performs frequently around the New England area with piano & jazz combo accompaniment. She is also the lead singer for the Boston-based blues group "The Juke Joint Five." Gretchen's vocal style demonstrates the influence of many great jazz & blues singers such as Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Nat King Cole, Ruth Brown, Koko Taylor, Muddy Waters, & Eva Cassidy to name a few.
