for those of you who know me musically know i love shirk circus. this morning i received a sweet but very very sad message of josh's passing from his family. i had the joy of meeting josh while i was out on tour a couple years back. we had been messaging back and forth and he was now going to come visit me at the electric factory in philly. it was quite a rush for me. we sat, talked and laughed. when john lefler of dashboard came into the room to warm up josh was at the piano. josh started to get up so john could play but john insisted that josh play while he sang. i know a billy joel song was performed off the top of their head but what i really remember was the pure musical talent. man, that guy could play. i love josh's songs. love them. when i told him i went out and bought "march" when it came out he told me i was maybe 1 of 4 to do so. i remember that day because i was so happy and i actually bought it at best buy in boca. i had hopes of one day playing with josh and that would have been blissful. my thoughts and love go out to julie, his family and friends.
love you josh. you will be missed.
