Consistantly defying convention the Grey Music Project is a music collab between two artists that thrive on the edgy abstraction and freedom that electronic music provides. Sean Anderson and Eric Reeves met while throwing intense rave parties in Texas in the late 1990's. As they began to work together as dj's they both strived to do somthing more with their musical abilities. In 2001 their late night fucking around became a crystal clear reality when Meglo record company legend Guidance Recordings asked the Grey project to put together a 4 track release for their label. This gave the two gents motivation to form a super group the likes of which no one would care about! The guidance venture titled Solid Foundations was the starting point of a slew of quirk inspired original creations from the duo. Over the last 4 years their concentration has been on their label Harmonious Discord Recordings, with 2 Albums and an Ep on the label. In addition to their own imprint you can find Grey Music featured on labels such as Fair Park, MVM, Deepness, Chalant, Tektite, Blunted Funk, and select other musical mediums. As we look to the future of the project we see a lean towards the ridiculiously abstract. But don't take my word, check out the player and hear for yourself!
