Formed in the winter of 2001, Vox Humana was essentlally my vehicle for crafting new songs and softer sounding material that would not suit my more dissonant and power house-laden indie trio Maceo Ruez. I started to demo songs on 4 track and recorded my first EP with my friend Eric Daum in his basement in that winter and then became obsessed with writing songs and have not stopped since. Vox Humana has taken on numerous shapes, ranging from a full on 5 piece band to a solo act.
