Kevin “Gridloc” Chambers was born on Sept. 28th 1980 in the cool cool parish of Manchester to Marlene Johnson & Donald Chambers. As a youth, growing up in Bonito Heights, he had an influence on persons in & around his community and had an avid interest in the music from his school days, thus forming the group “Young Thugs”.
As a toddler he attended the Mandeville all age school, then further went on to the St Paul of the Cross High school. The name Gridloc was derived from the original word gridlock which means “a traffic jam in which no vehicular movement is possible”. A Traffic jam it was indeed, whenever the group would roll through any event at all but the group was not to be and there was a split. However, that didn’t deter Kevin when his group split. Kevin rose to the occasion where he took the next step to embark on a musical journey which is now stirring up a buzz in the music arena.
So far “Gridloc” has worked with the best in the business, the likes of Cordell “Scatta” Burrell who produced hits such as Nina Sky’s – Move Your Body. Also Natural Bridge Records and Freeze Productions, just to name a few. A sure act to contend with, he delivers with clarity and content unmatched and unsurpassed in this time.

If a kiss was a raindrop... I'd send you showers. ♥If hugs were a second... I'd send you hours. ♥If smiles were water... I'd send you the sea. ♥ If friendship was a person... I'd send you me. ♥If you don't send this to at least 10 people... So that they know that you appreciate them. ♥ This poem shows lots of appreciation... So send this to all of your friends and let them know you care ♥friends ARE LIKE BALLOONS ONCE U LET THEM GO YOU CAN'T GET THEM BACK SO I'M GOING TO tie YOU TO MY HEART SO I NEVER LOSE YOU
