We are the premier fight school here in North Eastern Ohio. Our Academy has classes available in USA Boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts, Muay Thai, Judo, Wrestling, and Women's Kick Aerobics/Self Defense. We are a very active team and tight group. Recently, it has come to my attention that people have been declaring absurd records as to their fighting history. I have been hearing "I'm 100-0-0 street fights!" What the fuck is a STREET FIGHT? Its a crime you dumb assholes. If you fight MMA, don't you DARE belittle MY sport by claiming bar fights or street fights as part of your record. A pro record SHOULD be researched, all LEGITIMATE professional fights can be found on reputable sites like Sherdog, there you can see who the person has fought, how they won, how long it took, and their TRUE record. If you cannot find the fight it was more than likely and amateur fight or illegal confrontation, in which case, male or female, call the police and have them arrested for assault.
As a promoter, it is your responsibility to ACCURATELY announce your fighters records, if you do not, shame on you, you should be in the cell next to your 'fighter' (or criminal) claiming bullshit.
I, and I know many others, male and female, work hard for our belts, title, and ranks. And, because you are female, you should be held equally accountable for representing your record accurately.
To all of you who brought one particular asshole to my attention, I will not validate who she is by naming her, I thank you, but its not up to me to force promoters to do the right thing. I can only make a suggestion here and there, but I promise I will do my best.
