Too many to count.
To name just a few (in no particular order): Paul Gilbert, Jason Becker, Marty Friedman, Tom Hess, Mike Walsh, George Bellas, Vitalij Kuprij, Yngwie Malmsteen, Rusty Cooley, Joe Stump, Michael Romeo, John Petrucci, Randy Rhoads, Zack Wylde, Rhapsody, Andy LaRoque, etc...
I also really dig classical music, violin, piano, classical guitar and some cool singers (Dio, Fabio Lione)
I also get my musical inspiration from literature, dramatic movies, and of course my own personal life experiences.
My friend, business partner and mentor, Tom Hess is recruiting students for his one of a kind Music Careers Mentoring Program. I am a student in that program as well and I could not recommend it more highly. If you are a musician seeking to develop a career in this industry or if you are a professional already and seeking to take your career to new heights, this program is for you. Check out the video below:
Sounds Like
My sound is a mix of all of my neo-classical influences and some of the more progressive bands (Symphony X and Dream Theater), with some very dramatic elements at times (bands like Hess and Rhapsody)
I try to take all of that and compose the music that expresses my thoughts, feelings and emotions.
I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

Wow! Awesome. I just checked out your links page and clicked on my link. Thanks, man! As soon as I make a links page of my own, I'll be sure to put yours up there, too.
Hey Mike! Just wanted to check in~ I was just listening to Pensive from Chronicles...Awesome stuff dude! Can't wait to hear some more of your songs in the future~~
thanks for the materials. I'm doing good with the Sweep Picker's and Serious improvement for the developing guitarist books. The improvisation cd was very cool.
Also, was there supposed to have been a pdf guide with the cd?
Cool, Mike! I just e-mailed you my address. I can't wait to hear it! It'll be cool to check out some of the other artists on it, too. I LOVE neo-classical instrumental metal, so this should be a treat to hear.
Hey Mike, That new photo is mucho handsome! Just wanted to thank you again for all you have done to help with the MCMP stuff. You are an amazing young man and I am proud to call you my friend.
Thanks, Mike! Good to hear those compilations are getting ready. Yes, I would defiinitely like some copies, that is, if you have some to spare.
Have you checked out the band I just joined, A Tortured Soul? Let me know what you think, good or bad. As for me, I've loved this music for a while now, before ever thinking I'd wind up being a member of the band.
Hey Mike, I saw the new dvd on the site. There were many times I wanted to order materials like that but the payment method was the problem. I do not have a credit card or paypal.
So I was wondering if you have any alternative method for payment.
And I'm doing good with Tom's lessons. My exams were over on the 6th of nov, so I have more time to work on lessons.
Hey Mike, I finished up recording my album last night! All the mixing and mastering is done, too. I added a bio and quotes section to benkuzay.com as well.
How have you been bro? I just wanted to let you know that my first Promotional video for my Songwriting 101 series with Ultimate-Guitar.tv came out today.
If you have some time, feel free to check it out and leave a comment. I'd appreciate it.
