Grin Recordings is a Digital Based Record Label created by a group of South West London DJs and Producers who are looking to promote the underground sound of House music with an array of Wide Bass driven riffs and grooves. The music is influenced by the rapidly evolving House and Electro sounds found in the UK, Europe and Ibiza. Its aim is support upcoming talent that is emerging on the scene as well as more established artists.
The Team behind the label have been making an impact on the scene over the past few years and are well known for causing mischief and mayhem in parties and clubs across London and the UK.
"At Grin Recordings, we pride ourselves on being an approachable, independent electronica record label, dealing purely in dance music. We have no time for pigeon-holing sounds or artists, but make time to provide support and a sense of community to both our artists and followers."
For this years Rallye Sunseeker Mike Harris will be joined by Dan Mayo in the Grin Recordings Subaru Impreza. The two day rally begins on Friday evening with a pair of stages right in the heart ofBournemouth, and then continues on Saturday with visits to the stately Somerely House and surrounding forests in the Ringwood Area.

Following the first announcement of this summer’s Official South West Four After Party hosted and headlined by Eric Prydz and his ‘Pryda’ imprint... it’s with great pleasure that we can now announce the full line up:
Joining Eric in the Main Room is French techno star Sebastien Leger. Having been rocking dancefloors since the mid 90’s, Leger was inspired by fellow French stars Laurent Garnier, Daft Punk, Etienne De Crecy and Cassius, drawing on their house sounds but adding his own unique techno edge Leger dropped his first EP in 1998 and since then has released over 50 tracks on esteemed imprints such Black Jack, Ovum, Intec and many more. Breaking into the DJ Mag Top 100 a few years ago, Sebastian has gone from strength to strength and is widely reputed as one of the leading DJs and producers on the scene!
Next up on the bill is one of the UK’s leading live techno acts Spektre who will be performing LIVE. Made up of successful DJ / Production duo Filthy Rich and Paul Maddox and inspired by early R&S releases through to modern day masterminds such as M.A.N.D.Y, Plasmik and Trentemoller, Spektre have destroyed clubland with releases on labels like Cocoon and Great Stuff alongside DJ support from Sven Vath, Richie Hawtin, Tim Sheridan, Fergie and beyond. Rounding up the main room will be local lads Jnr J and Rich Nicholas - two hot up-n-coming London-based DJs who will be warming the proceedings!
Elsewhere in this mammoth venue sees three of London’s leading party crews go head to head. Room 2 welcomes Grin Recordings crew; Jack Michaels, James Edwards, Mark Batch and Yiannis Balkizas alongside Natalie Parker and The Wallaci Bros. Room 3 sees South African team Lucky Life bring their unique sun-drenched house featuring DJs STYRAFOAMKID, DJ Fhurst, Dom Makin, Papa G Vs Justin V, DJ Opti, Sarah Holder and RubezVs Wayne C. Leading up the charge sees Soundas host Room 4 featuring residents and friends Josh Chancer, Dan Perrin, Saoirse Ryan, Harry Brown and Lancealot & Tristan Gleed.
To use one of dance music’s most loved cliché’s here is a man who needs no introduction, with a unique gift of being able to deliver the most insane underground club tracks followed by big room anthems and chart-topping hits, Eric Prydz has risen up through the ranks of dance music to sit at the very top as one of the most in demand DJs and producers in the world. With an insanely high output of music which he releases across his own three labels; Mouseville, Pyda and Pryda Friends, each label has been strictly developed to focus on a different aspect of Eric’s production style.
Tonight following Eric’s Main Stage performance at South West Four festival we focus on his PRYDA imprint for this summer’s Official After Party. Launched in 2005, the first release ‘Aftermath’ set the pace for what was to come. When the label hit its sixth release with ‘Proper Education’ in 2006 (Eric’s mash up of Pink Floyd’s ‘Another Brick in the Wall’), PRYDA had officially become globally renown for its top-level output. Add to this the unbelievable floor shakers such as ‘Muranyi’, ‘Balaton’ and ‘Armed’ and more recently ‘Miami To Atlanta’ and ‘Animal’ it’s easy to see why Eric’s unique production skill and his PRYDA imprint can easily be seen as the best in the world. Which is exactly why it’s our great pleasure to give this man and his label the reigns to host our Official After Party!
