Grip On The Sun is an engaging power trio based out of Boston, Massachusetts. Their sound has roots in classic rock, hard rock, and metal but carries on that tradition with an updated, modern edge.
All three members have been playing club gigs in various bands for years. After deciding to start this band, the band's work ethic provided the momentum to record 6 songs and start playing various stages in New England before officially being a band for even two months!
John Sage, who began gigging in his early teens, pairs powerful vocals with fluid, skilled guitar rhythms and solos. Tim "TK" Kostas hammers out bottom heavy, melodic basslines that move bodies. TBA's drumming propels the songs with tight, furious beats that hold it all together with every groove.
Intense, emotive songwriting and energetic live performances capture any audience, every time.
