Gristlestick is not only delicious, they are educational!
Takhini Hotsprings
Do you like funky breakdowns with ripping harmonica solos?
Does the thought of witty lyrics over driving ukulele licks tickle your brain cells?
Gristlestick offers a steaming plate of the above and much more.
With involved crowd interaction, Gristlestick keeps the audience’s attention by tailoring the show to the people. In their repertoire of over 4 hours of original material and 4 hours of cover tunes, Gristlestick wins over just about any group of people that are looking for a good time. From funk to blues, reggae, rock, folk and hip hop, the band reaches across generations and clamps them together.
A band of four; Russ Copelin, Tom Stevens, Leif Devine and Andrew Bellmore assemble the music force sometimes known as “The G-Team”. The lead man and comic “Rank” Russ tears up guitar and harmonica while showing an impressive aptitude at his own unique style of playing the ukulele. Tom Stevens finger picks strong riffs on his 6 string while not playing immaculate slap bass or sliding on the 50’s lap steel guitar. Classically trained Leif Devine plays articulate bass lines and rocking guitar licks while Andrew Bellmore keeps up the energy with jazzy funk and driving drums.
Parties, bars, fairs, and stages, Gristlestick wants to play for YOU!
