Biography:
Based out of Orlando, FL - Clock Hands Strangle plays rock and roll with an emphasis on lyrics and song craft. Though the bands strongest influences Joni Mitchell, John Lennon, and Bob Dylan were most prominent in the 1960s and 70s, the music sits nicely alongside modern-day acts such as Modest Mouse, The Flaming Lips, and Wilco. Literary influences, including poets Elizabeth Bishop and Donald Justice, play a prevalent role in the songwriting as well.
The band's new album, Distacatti, is coming out Jan '09 and will be followed by a tour of the Eastern half of the US.

Biography:
Kristi Rae is a singer-songwriter from Austin who makes deceptively unassuming, very quiet, mostly acoustic-guitar driven music. Her songs exist as simple layers that provide seamless space for lyrical themes. In moments, the elements unite allowing the listener to drift before pulling them back.
Kristi's third full length, "Time, be lit." is going to be released in Jan '09 and she will be playing shows around Texas to support its release.
