AUTO BIOGRAPHY OF ROLEMODEL………
Birth name Ricardo Morris, born in the month of February 1980 in the parish of Hanover in Jamaica. From the age of 6 years old has been interfering around sound systems. In 1995 graduate from junior high school in Hanover forward on to Montego Bay secondary school. In 1996 migrate to London for the likes of living with his mother. In late 1999 met up with producer Tony of Unseen Masters located in North London. Been back and forth to Jamaica while taking steps forwards towards a career in the reggae entertainment world. The name Role model becomes popular in the clubs (rave, party, and dance) because of his unique ways of entertaining the crowed as a DJ (Selector). In 2004 decided to get focus on writing, recording and build vocal skills as a reggae artist. Since then been creating a spot in the reggae scene in the UK. 2006 Role model career take the next step with debut single and video titled Step, along with follow up track titled Mama thank you. Role model video’s broadcast on Channel U, Ben TV, Passion TV and other internet TV channels. Done countless radio interviews, such as BBC Radio1, Live! TV interviews. Role model has been performing all over the UK since. Role model is now the founder of his own production and company Government Empire! 2009 Role Model now
Releasing first album PURE AND TRUE TO YOUR SELF, along with new single and video titled Little Mary. Role model now host a radio show on WWW.CONCIOUSRADIO.COM, 106.9 FM presenting, UK Cuts Reggae Show! Playing UK base reggae artist.
His music now spreading around the world also been recording songs for producers worldwide. Role model now has number of duets with different source of international artists. His goals as an artist is to continue the legacy of the reggae music both as a father and of good influence a Role model in the homes to every Children and across the planet PREACHING MORE LIFE. His Achievements are yet still to come as he continues his journey pursuing his career as a recording and performing artist. Role model working and aiming for higher heights making music for the love and passion and seeing others enjoy the creativity of his work in the clubs and homes.

GOVERNMENT EMPIRE
It started out as an idea, the idea sparked and so started the dream of Government Empire, a vision of how things could be, to transcend above what has been achieved before, I have taken the baton, now watch me go, reach for the stars because the higher you set the bar, the further you will reach, even if you don’t quite touch it. For too long, there have been a lot of misconception regarding the music scene, so with that in mind and our motivation to be that positive example that others can follow, so the aim at Government Empire is to focus music in a positive light, highlighting the plight of life in the twenty first century, we intend to work with/develop artists, producers, writers etc of all levels, be it a young lady or gentleman with only a dream and a talent, making that dream a reality is our goal, our desire in a sense is to prove that “anything is possible” that statement in itself is a reflection of, the unwritten motto or code of what we believe in
You could be an established artist who simply wants to be a part of something positive
But on a whole, we don’t wish to limit ourselves solely to the music industry, like the name suggest, we are creating/building an empire, and any building needs a strong foundation, so we aim to do that from the bottom up, with people that share the same desire and belief and aspiration, touching all aspects of the entertainment industry, be you a writer, a singer, a musician, what ever your ability or talent, you are welcome within the government empire, as long as progress, positivity and entertainment is your goal.
We need to eradicate the negative cloud surrounding certain genre of music and even areas of the community
Rest assured, we don’t intend to preach or dictate, we aim to keep music fun and uplifting, but also positive, we are more than just performers, entertainers or stars, we are role models all of us and have to conduct ourselves in that manner, influencing positive changes and attitude, because I (GRM) have been in the industry a very long time and I have witness first hand the influence we have on our fans, and the influence of our lifestyles, so with the help of god I will be doing my best to not revisit the mistakes of my peers.
Under the name peace in the community, the aim was to represent a positive influence on/within the community, not just the one we live in, my thoughts is that (in terms of the domino effect) we start within the community we live in and then hope that the idea takes off and carry on with the same momentum and dedication.
I have had moments when I can visualise the after effect of this dream, communities pulling in the same direction, with a common goal, to make our community safe for our children, so I intend to use all medium, to exploit all revenues, if it means this dream becomes a reality.

something that i read the other day which i thought was so true, so i thought i share it with you.....We have invented time to feel secure that we can predict life. That clock is merciless, beating out seconds at a constant rate, ignoring the natural changing rhythms of our minds and our bodies. And so we are constantly trying to speed up or slow down. Give yourself a break for a change, - put away that watch for a couple of days and settle into your own natural rhythm
