About Groove Allegiance

The Groove Allegiance is Jonny Strinati and Chris Hughes and we are the bosses of a well funky label called SPLANK!

The 2 of us have been knocking out tunes for the last 3 years. We started off as funky breaks but now we've gone all fidgety and housey in our old age. But to be honest we just do whatever we like!!!

Live Jonny works the decks while Chris goes nuts on the Ableton Live trigger box, firing off acapella’s, loops and squelchy bits.

We've played all over as well, Canada, Vancouver, Victoria, Edmonton, Whistler, Fabric (London), Glade Festival, Mighty Breaks (San Francisco), Cargo (Beijing), The Foo Club (Hamburg), Bazaar (Porto), Nouveau Casino (Paris), Tangled Breaks (Manchester), Spectrum (Nottingham).
