| General | You. | | Music | Music is a constant in my life, I've been fascinated by it since I was a kid, especially with rhythm. I'm a classically trained composer and a rock 'n' roll trained drummer. The great composers, especially Haydn, Beethoven, and Mahler, give me daily inspiration, wisdom, laughter, and peace of mind. Billy Martin (Medeski, Martin, and Wood) is probably my favorite drummer, certainly my biggest current influence when it comes to playin' the skins.
I'm currrently playing drums with Rachael's Surrender, and I've also had the pleasure of touring with L.A.-based Mercurine. I'm hoping to start my own project soon, something new and (I hope) inspiring for all the beautiful peeps in my life. | | Movies | The lushness of Fellini, the dark sensuality of David Lynch, the brilliant comedy of Monty Python, and a bunch of others I'll add later.
| | Television | I think the British are the most comedic species on the planet. My favorite shows to laugh at include Monty Python (natch'), Black Adder, The Office, and Fawlty Towers.
Mystery Science Theater 3000 - I can't bow low enough.
