A little bit about me... I've been playing trumpet for over 35 years. I heard Herbie Hancock's "Maiden Voyage" back in High School and thought that was pretty cool, especially the way Freddie Hubbard played the trumpet. I learned some things about music from a great man, teacher and guitarist Linc Chamberland. I discovered Miles Davis, Lee Morgan, La Sonora Ponceña, Suba, Clara Nunes and many other greats along the way and I began playing latin music in New York City in the 1980's, sharing the stage with some amazing singers and musicians including Grammy winner Lalo Rodriguez, platinum recording artist Tony Vega, the great "sonero" Adalberto Santiago and countless others. I've toured with the Broadway show "Chicago" and performed throughout North America, Asia, Europe and Latin America with various jazz, latin, and pop music groups. I once played a Salsa concert in front of 100,000 people! I had the pleasure of collaborating with an amazing and creative electro/improv/visual project called "Spinning Plates" from 2006-2008 -- check them out at myspace.com/splates -- very cool stuff. I've had the pleasure of playing with a great R&B/Funk band, Chauncey Nedd and the Neddman Band (check out "Cookin' with Chauncey" in my music player for a taste!). And, oh yeah, I've played a few weddings and bar mitzvah's out on Long Island! It's all good.
Heyyy there my favorite trumpet player - Just wanted to say thanks again for the Salsa CD. I love it! I never realized how much I enjoy that kind of music. So thanks for the in ;) See you this weekend.

Hey Chris, you sound great too. I always loved the way you phrased when playing. Yeah I remember you comming with me to Liebmans house. He kicked my butt that day. He always did. I never realized as a kid how fortunate I was to have Linc as a musical role model. But man, everything that I play is influenced by him and all of you great players that I learned from. Keep playin man, you got the gift. Peace.... Scott
