GROOVY MONDAYS at THE GLADSTONE HOTEL MELODY BAR is an open stage & songwriter showcase that started in August 2001. Since then, hundreds of musicians from around the world have performed on our stage.
The night is sponsored by and affiliated with SPEAK MUSIC, who provide publicity and promotion, as well as host the Groovy Mondays website.
Other sponsors include LONG & MCQUADE MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS.
Long & McQuade provide a limited backline of a full-size Roland keyboard, with weighted keys and an Epiphone acoustic, plug-in guitar.

Groovy Mondays is located at The Gladstone Hotel at 1214 Queen Street West, in Toronto.
The Gladstone Hotel is a unique, extremely groovy venue with a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Great food!
Sign up and music starts at 8pm.
A sign up form will be made available at the front of the room.
Musicians play 2 songs each during open stage portion, before and after feature performance. This is highly encouraged, and a great way to become a scheduled feature at a future date.
The scheduled features play from 10:00pm-10:40PM and will receive payment for their performance. Feature artists are encouraged to promote their set and email fans to come to the show.
Groovy Mondays released the first compilation CD called Groovy Mondays Live at Holy Joe's".
The CD contains 19 musicians, all of whom have been previously featured performers. After a small tour of Ontario, the CD became available for purchase at MapleMusic. (www.maplemusic.com)
The CD artwork, music and production was donated and all money raised from the sale of the CD goes to ArtsCan Circle. (www.artscancircle.ca)
