Lee: Frost-bitten programs of unending horror and all shrieks of blasphemous balloons and cotton candy.
Chris: Funeral saw and all casket-cracking brain scoops with extra strawberry syrup.
Influences
My inspirations come from music like Vomit Spawn, Libido Airbag, the aforementioned Carcass, Slough, Obituary, Axis Of Perdition, AxCx, Regurgitate, General Surgery, S.M.E.S., Gynophagia and many more; video games like Silent Hill, Siren and Splatterhouse; even movies such as Cemetery Man, Nekromantik, Nightwatch, The Corpse Bride, Dead Alive, Bride of Frank and other classics.

Gross has been dormant for a while. I've dedicated most of the last couple of years to creating comics and writing. The history in a nutshell: I formed Gross with me, myself and I back in 1999 at the age of 19, recording horrible shrieky, gory noise-grind of a sort in a farm house in Ohio. I'd wanted to make a band since 14 upon my discovery of Carcass but over the years I couldn't find any "musicians" that were willing to go outside of the box and into really deranged, unexplored metal terrain. "Raisins de la Mort" was released by Black Hole Productions (Brazil). I guess this release was decent as far as 4-track rendered crap-grind goes. When I was 22 I recorded "Web of Stung Vein" professionally in Aaron Richert's (Timelord) Hope Park Studios, then arranged in Maryland. This would eventually be released on the Divine Noise Entertainment (Germany). There was a cool split with the grind legends Vomit Spawn and a bunch of other releases on cool DIY labels but for the most part the material Gross contributed was worthless.
Now getting up to date, after searching fruitlessly for an actual guitarist considering I'm no good at playing, I met with fellow lover of metal Chris Cook, and we're in the process of recording material for one full length and a shorter recording that will be a promotional EP until perhaps it's used for a min-LP, split, bonus tracks or whatever assuming an appropriate label takes the material on. ***Please note that most material is being deleted from this site to make way for Gross's new embodiment. An online shop will be added as soon as possible. -Lee
