About me: Hello, my name is Clea Cutthroat and I produce Berlin's annual Grotesque Gala. After surviving my own year long battle with censorship, I became determined to create an event that championed alternative performance artists. Combining my classical dance background with circus sensibilites, the Grotesque Gala provides a platform for all alternative artists to express themselves in an über professional atmosphere and without censorship. The Grotesque Gala brings together a night of my favorite artists, from breakdancers to magicians, suspension artists to dance, bands to new burlesque.
