SGT.ROCK has been making acid p-funk disco breaks since 1997 when Fused and Bruised used his 'Deeper'n'deffer' tune on their 'Daytrip to Brisco' compilation album. In 1999 he was signed to Wiiija records and the following year released his debut album 'Live the Dream', which he toured with a show that the NME described as 'A cross between the Lo-Fi allstars and an eastern european gameshow'. More recently, he has released tunes through manchester's Splank! records and his own GROT imprint.
His music has been used on numerous TV shows, Films and Ads and he's DJ all over europe, including John Peel's 60th and 65th birthday parties at Peel Acres.
He's also one half of hip-hop crew Butternut, one third of Banjolele mavericks Rock Onic and Bob, one Fifth of dandy punks the Schooner Boys and records proper songs as The Mellow Contender. It's all go.
