Sounds Like
Rocks eating other rocks that are on fire inside a rock tumbler.
Grotto Fork began when guitarist Hamilton Boyce met drummer Nash Turley. They started playing and writing music after school without really being a band. After nearly four years Grotto Fork recruited Ryan Batie and gave him the task of writing vocal parts to their instrumentals. By the summer of 2005 they were playing regular shows around Seattle and recorded their full length Ungulate.
Currently, while the members are away at college they are doing other things. Ryan is recording under the name Coal Mine Fires and Nash and Hamilton joined up with a bass player to start Song Sparrow Research.
Our full length is available for order online:

I was just about to email you guys about that remix. For all who skipped that blog post by the band, a remix of "Particle" produced by me is available and streaming at my MySpace page. Band approved..."it's fucking boss".
These guys rock. Period. If you have a chance to catch their electrifying live show, do it. I was fortunate enough to see them in Washington while touring with Diamond Lane...and became an instant fan.
