Grotto Fork began when guitarist Hamilton Boyce met drummer Nash Turley. They started playing and writing music after school without really being a band. After nearly four years Grotto Fork recruited Ryan Batie and gave him the task of writing vocal parts to their instrumentals. By the summer of 2005 they were playing regular shows around Seattle and recorded their full length Ungulate.

Grotto Fork is not currently active. If you would like to know what we are doing, Ryan is recording under the name Coal Mine Fires and Nash and Hamilton (now with Ryan as well) continued making music as Song Sparrow Research. If you would like to contact us please contact through Song Sparrow Research as this page doesn't get checked much.
