HEAVY METAL AT IT'S BEST!! ORIGINAL SOUND FROM HARD CORE ROCKERS WHO JUST WANT TO PLAY LOUD AND PROUD!
It started as Dirt Shack ... It has evolved into what we now know as Ground Effect. The last year has seen some personnel change and the ups and downs of keeping the same identity while taking a progressive step forward. We are now workiing on new material with the same grit as always, only with a better, heavier and more mature sound. Thank you to all the fans, friends and family who have stuck with Ground Effect as we've neared the dreaded edge all bands seem to encounter ... destroy and rebuild. We're still here, and so are you.
All local bands ... It's time to separate the men from the boyz around here and get SW Michigan rockin' again like the days of old ... let the march begin ...
CHRIS, KELLY, TONY, RANDY & ERIC BRING YOU...
Thanks for coming out too our good old home town of baroda. You boys kiced some major metal ass last night like always. Well until Chucks "Tomorrow", Take it easy.
Man, I'm starting to get the shakes from not getting my fix of Ground Effect. If any one wants Tickets to Carnival of Chaos let us know. I think Dick said he would give you guys Tix.
Burn it the fuck down! Sounds good. There is another one of youre songs we heard at cheer's that was awsome and we wished we could get a recording of. We will ID it tommorrow night. Step Asides comment was cool. I'd like to elaborate. All asshole bands better "Step Aside" or they will feel the "Ground Effect" and get a "Stillframe" of there "Forced Life" and be "Buried in Flames". Ha I'm crackin' myself up. Peace to the brother hood of mid west metal.
Thanx for the party at my parents house. Even though the cops came because of a Sunday night loud noise, I had a blast. The next time a party is going to happen a noise permit will be issued. For those who rock I salute you GounD EffecT.
Hey bro's you guy's sounded killer at Cheer's last night. Sorry I missed the council meeting thurs. I promise I won't miss the next one and I'll have some designs for the two stage thing. I'm thinking I can run both stages off my board 36 channels should get 'er done. Represent'n Hartford brothers!!!
Whats happening. How did the show go? Jaycos was a little slow but we still rocked the fuck out. Dude, night of a 1000 Knives is fucking killer. Plus those are some cool down to earth dudes. I was also seeing if you guys wanted to try to set a date at Czars with us and Night of 1000 Knives. I think that would be a killer show. Just let me know what you think and I will get ahold of Czars asap. Later Brotherns of Metal.
