Locally rider owned and operated since 1997, Ground Zero Boardshop specializes in hardgoods, apparel, and footwear for skateboards, snowboards, skimboards, and wakeboards.  Whether you need a board from your favorite brand, a t-shirt from the most underground company, or shoes from the most sought after label, Ground Zero has it and guarnantees the best price.

Selling the right gear is the easy part, many shops do it.  But Ground Zero is the only area shop to prove to support the community right back.  Ground Zero is the only shop in existence that contributed to the Sacramento Skatepark Advocates'(SSA) efforts to build skateparks in the area.  GZ contributed time and money to fundraising events for them which concluded in the construction on Granite Skatepark near Power Inn Rd and Tanzanite Skatepark in Natomas. 

Ground Zero's efforts have contributed a new obstacle at the 28th & B skatepark and have thrown skate events to benefit local fallen skateboarders.

With dozens of skate and snowboard contests under our belts and the sponsorship of skate, snow, skim, and wake events, Ground Zero is the one shop that uses your support by giving back to the community.

The number one question we get on Myspace is "Do you sponsor?" Of course we sponsor.  We have some of the best local athletes for skate, skim, and snow, and we are currently looking for wakeboarders. For a team roster, please check out our website; real shops have real websites.
