The new GROUND ZERO Located at 48 ALLENSTOWN RD. ALLENSTOWN NH,
is the 6th. all ages live original music venue we've opened in NH since 1996. Centrally located only minutes from both the state capitol and the largest city in NH. With a 4000 sq. ft. layout, professional sound w/ lights, & large stage, GROUND ZERO is completely set up to host small to medium ORIGINAL bands of many genres.
GROUND ZERO is funded out of pocket by its owners.
it is not affiliated with any Orgs., of any kind. We have been extremely blessed over the past 14 years , to have offered the youth of 4 different NH communities, this positive music filled environment , which GROUND ZERO is today.
Contrary to what some might conclude, GROUND ZERO is not a " christian music venue " , we book positive non christian bands , along side great christian bands, weekly. GROUND ZERO is a "neutral venue", inclusive - not exclusive.
Over the years we have had such a vast number of incredibly talented artists through our doors , we would need a whole other website just to list the many great ORIGINAL bands & poets we have had the pleasure of hosting.
We began in 1996 with a 5 dollar cover charge to our local events, and over the past 14 years have seen a drastic change in the music scene & economy,
unfortunately forcing us, to gradually increase our cover charge to 7 , then 8 , and now 10 per entry.
we are hoping to keep it at 10.00 for some time , and not have to ever raise it above that.
We will continue in what feel called to do, and hope that we can be an influence on the youth of yet another NH community, and also help many more bands to strive hard to make it to the next level , to keep thier heads up , and achieve thier goals and dreams. Positive music can be a wonderful thing , it brings people together and can make a huge impact on how we cope with day to day living.
