group A was established by alyssa lee in 2003 as a new media dance company committed to placing dance in close contact with other art forms. group A collaborates with artists to create original interdisciplinary works. over the years, through collaboration with multiple artists, group A has created a versatile repertoire including installations using plastic wrap; technology based works employing laser beams and sensors; dances with plastic bags, duct tape, TVs, and fans; creative hip hop dances; and conceptual works focusing on issues such as time, space, pop culture, and gender.
In 2009 Alyssa Lee (artistic director) had a residency at the Atlantic Center for the Arts, and in 2006 group A was the artist in residence in the dance departments at The College of Wooster, Ohio and The College of San Mateo, California. group A has been presented by the Renaud-Wilson Dance Festival, Summerfest/WestWave Dance Festival, the Monterey Dance Festival, and the International Symposium of Electronic Arts, and has performed at Headlands Center for the Arts, ODC, Theater Artuad, and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. In addition, Alyssa Lee’s choreography with group A has presented at various venues in California, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Arizona, New York City, Lithuania, Germany, and Spain, including performance spaces, art galleries, multimedia parties, garages, installations, festivals, nightclubs, boats, and gardens.

i'm not sure about that video you sent me. it's too feminine. haha. noticed how everyone else except the teacher is girl?
but yeah, i definitely wanna teach that as soon as i learn it. haha. my style is a lot more mellow than that though. something more like this...(which i also want to teach)
